Climbing : Three O'Clock Rock, Silent Running (7p, 5.10b), Aug. 3, 2003

Gary, Colin, Eric, and I climbed Silent Running (topo) on a pleasant Darrington day recently. In great contrast to Colin's and my experience on Dreamer previously, the day was cool, with the occasional benign cloud. We climbed efficiently and smoothly on incredible, well-protected slab. The third pitch was classic pure friction and the "bonus pitch" at the end was the perfect way to top off the climb.

Gary took some great pictures, including a series of me, fully gripped, on the incredible friction of the last pitch.
